Member of Parliament
South Surrey, White Rock and Cloverdale
Dear Mr. Hiebert
I am writing on behalf of the Crescent Beach Property Owners’ Association regarding the increase in the silt (a combination of mud and sand) that is building up and creating problems at the Crescent Beach Marina.
The channels in and out and around the marina have not been dredged by the Federal government for many years. Reportedly the new development along the Nicomekl River has also contributed to the muddy situation and during low tide it is difficult if not impossible for boats to move in and out.
The marina is a vital part of our community and as a matter of public record we are requesting that this matter be investigated and solutions provided.
We appreciate your attention to this matter.
Sincerely
Karen MacPherson

Welcome
The Beach Committee is tasked with both identifying and looking at issues related to the beach and waterways raised by the CBPOA membership, setting priorities then recommending action by preparing a ‘motion’ to be voted on by the membership and/or providing information to the membership.
